ABOUT THE PROJECT.
SOLACE // VOLUME I
We need nature now more than ever. I’ve always found myself in the mountains. Not really chasing views — it’s the quiet that keeps pulling me back. Everything slows down up there. Things make more sense, or at least they feel like they do. Over time, I started taking photos, just to hold on to those moments before they slipped away again. But this isn’t just about putting mountains into a book. These places aren’t untouched, even if they still feel that way when you’re standing in them. They’re changing, and not slowly either. It’s easy to ignore that when you’re only passing through. We take what we need from nature all the time, and then carry on. Giving something back isn’t the norm, even though it should be. This book is part of that shift for me.
SOLACE is the first larger piece of my project, atmoshepherd. It shares these places, but it also asks you to stay with them for a second longer. Pay attention. Don't just move on. I'm proud to say that a portion of every sale went to the Deutscher Alpenverein (DAV) to support their work in mountain sustainability. It is worth protecting the places that give us solace.
SOUND.
I create ambient music for people who need to slow down. Piano, strings, synths, and sometimes soft electronics. Nothing loud, nothing rushed. These pieces are crafted for quiet moments and seamless integration with the stillness of the outdoors. Listen to my releases below or explore my CURATED PLAYLIST.
MY SPOTIFY PROFILE.ATMOSHEPHERD.
atmoshepherd is my passion project built around a simple idea: encouraging people to reconnect with nature in an honest and accessible way. Through creative work and reflections from time spent in nature, it invites a slower pace and a more conscious relationship with the environment.
There's no expectation to do things perfectly. It's conscious, small choices that make the difference: paying attention and rediscovering the value of quiet moments in nature.
The work shared through atmoshepherd aims to show the outdoors as they actually feel. Not always dramatic or idealised, but sometimes muddy, quiet, uncertain, or unexpectedly meaningful. It's about the small summits, the changing weather, the walks that don't go as planned, and the reflections that emerge along the way. Everything comes from being present in those moments rather than chasing trends or aesthetics.
atmoshepherd is about awareness, and a quiet belief that reconnecting with nature begins with small, honest steps.
Giving back is a core pillar of this foundation. The first major milestone was the photo book SOLACE. A portion of all proceeds was donated to the Deutscher Alpenverein (DAV) in support of its vital work on mountain sustainability and responsible access to alpine environments.
PEJTJER.
For over ten years, I've worked across photography, sound, graphic design, and 3D modelling. I've led projects but never lost touch with the actual making.
Then something shifted. I still work in creative fields, but my focus has changed. These days, I want to inspire people to find their way back to nature because I genuinely think we need to.
That feeling stuck with me, and so I started a new passion project called atmoshepherd. What drives me now is a quiet urgency. A belief that protecting nature and our planet matters more than ever.
PEJTJER. STUDIO.
This is where the creative branding behind my projects takes shape. It’s the space where ideas are developed and refined before being brought into a cohesive visual and sonic identity.
Most of the work here supports my own projects, while also opening the door for selected collaborations and client work. Photography, sound design, graphic design, and 3d modelling all come together, shaped by what each concept needs.
Some of it is personal. Some of it is collaborative. All of it is guided by the same intention: thoughtful direction and honest creative work.
